On this Patriot Day, we pay tribute to the heroes and victims who lost their lives on September 11, and we recommit ourselves to the spirit of unity, patriotism, and service that carried our Nation through in the days that followed. We will NEVER forget.

Putnam County School District, along with local law enforcement agencies, are working to make all events safe and secure for students, families, and community members.
Beginning Friday, August 25, 2023, new security procedures will be implemented for attendees to athletic events at Bennett-Cooper Field at Veterans Memorial Stadium:
Weapons are not permitted on any PCSD property, and each person entering will be screened with weapon detection devices.
Attendees may enter at the main gate on 18th Street and the southeast gate on Twigg Street across from Ravine Gardens entrance. The southwest gate will be closed. The northeast gate is an entrance for staff and players ONLY.
The main gate/18th Street accepts GoFan and debit cards for tickets. The Twigg Street/Ravines gate accepts GoFan, debit cards and CASH for tickets.
Gates open at 6:00PM. These new procedures will likely cause delays in entering the stadium. Please plan accordingly.
Thank you for your cooperation and patience, and Go Panthers!

This message is for all Putnam County School District staff and families:
Due to the increased speed of the incoming storm, local emergency operations and district officials have made the decision to dismiss students one hour early today, Wednesday, November 9th. Please prepare to pick your child up from school or be at the bus stop one hour early. Please know students who are in 3rd grade or lower will not be released at the bus stop without a parent or guardian present. Those students will be returned to their school for supervision until someone can pick them up. We recognize this may be burdensome for many families, and appreciate your cooperation as we are working to staff and open shelters for our community members.
Thank you and stay safe!

All schools in Putnam County will be closed on Thurs., Nov. 10. All after-school activities and athletics are cancelled at the end of the school day, Wed., Nov. 9.
