Please join us Thursday August 29th at 3:30 pm for our Student Advisory Council Meeting. All interested Parents and Community members are invited to attend.

ATTENTION MLC Familes-
If you see this blue light flashing, do not attempt to enter the school. This light is another safety measure that was put into place to notify everyone that there is a lock-down in progress. This light will flash during both a lock-down drill and a real lock down event. We have several of them located throughout the school including at the front of the school.

We would like to welcome students who wish to gather in remembrance of Robert Gillon to the PJSHS Gym this afternoon at 5:00PM. Local community and faith leaders will be there to provide words of comfort. We ask all media to stay in the parking area of Mellon Learning Center directly across the street from PJSHS. Thank you!

We are excited to welcome our students back August 12th for the 2024-25 school year! Please make sure your child's vaccines and physical examinations are up to date. Vaccinations can be obtained at your personal physician or the county health department. If your child requires prescription medication or a treatment during school hours, a current signed physician order is required. All over-the-counter medications require a signed parent consent form. Please visit the district's health services page for more information. For questions, call your child's school or the District at 386-329-0538. Thank you! https://www.putnamschools.org/page/health-services

Starting back to school, we have added our travel map for the school year.
Parent drop off and pick up will take place in the front of the school for both K-12 and Pre-K this year, please use the map as a reference of which lane you should be in for your student.
Pre-K parents, you should use the inside lane when dropping off and picking up your students.
K-12 parents, please use the outside lane when dropping off and picking up your students. Stopping at the crosswalk in front of the office.
Our gates open for drop off at 7:05 AM and students will be tardy at 7:35 AM. Students will be released from school at 2:20 PM.
Parents will only be allowed to walk students to their classrooms on August 12th. After that we will be wheels only.
We are looking forward to a GREAT school year.

We are looking forward to seeing all of our families at Meet the Teacher

If you see a BLUE LIGHT flashing at one of our schools, do not enter. It is an additional safety measure to notify people arriving on the campus that there is a lock-down in progress, either a drill or a real event. They are posted in several locations around the school so people will know to avoid campus.

Parents/Guardians this is a friendly reminder that if your child is set to graduate you will need to transport your child by 9am on Friday May 24th to the CLO Auditorium. Please drop them off at the side door labeled chorus room. We will have staff in the room to receive the students. You may check your child out after the ceremony with the teacher. If you choose not to check out your child you will need to transport them back to the school. We look forward to celebrating with you.

Unfortunately we will not have Kona Ice on Thursday May 16th.

If you want your child to receive the vaccine at school, please complete and return the consent form recently sent home with students. Thank you for your support in getting your 6th grader ready for 7th grade enrollment.
